THE CO-FOUNDERS: BEN + TY TOOPET
Community "CMNTY" Sports was started in 2006 by co-founders Ben and Ty Toopet.
Ben and Ty are both sports enthusiasts who developed CMNTY Sports as an initiative to provide families with recreational activities that are affordable, fun, and inclusive.
Mission
CMNTY Sports mission is to provide all kids with the opportunity to play sports. We view sports as a positive outlet with a ton of benefits. In a perfect world, every child would show up and participate without any added pressure. In our world, we knock down barriers to provide an inclusive environment for families to build bonds and for kids to build long-lasting connections.
Although most CMNTY services come at a cost, we actively seek out CMNTY sponsors and supporters to pay it forward, so no child is turned away.
Aside from introducing kids to sports and helping them develop sports skills, we also want to help our CMNTY kids develop the three C's: confidence, compassion for others, and communication skills. Focusing on the three C's builds character and connections; which is our true goal.

Volunteer
If you are looking to join a team that promotes communication, confidence, and compassion for others while providing opportunities for families to get out a play, join CMNTY Service.
CMNTY service is a volunteer group of teens and adults that show up to CMNTY events and programs to support the staff, cheer on participants, and provide an extra pair of hands.
Community service hours are awarded to all participants.
